59, 88, 101, 117, 137, 143 … 184, 185, 187, 187

These are the numbers of "Yes" votes since 1992 at the UNGA on the annual resolutions urging the U.S. to end its long-standing economic and trade embargo against Cuba. The only 2 "No" votes this year came from the U.S. and Israel.

By turning a blind eye to the overwhelming international consensus, the U.S. risks alienating itself from other nations including most of its allies. Maximum pressure leads to maximum isolation.

The numbers tell the tale.
