Mideast in Pictures: Displaced Palestinians in Gaza Strip

GAZA, May 25 (Xinhua) -- Amid the ongoing Israeli attacks on the northern and southern regions of the Gaza Strip, Palestinians are in a constant state of displacement.

Laden with bundles of clothes, water buckets and other daily necessities, families cram onto horse-drawn carts, seeking refuge wherever they can.

Despite the Israeli designation of safe zones, many Palestinians have found that there is no safe place to go.

Nevertheless, they persist in their search for safety and peace, relentlessly on the move in a desperate bid to secure their lives and find a place where they can live without fear.
