The Michelin-starred Shang Palace at Kowloon Shangri-La is all set to welcome the Chinese New Year on a delicious note with a stunning collection of festive gifts. These seasonal treats, along with various hampers, add to the holiday spirit as we welcome the Year of the Snake.

This year, Shang Palace introduces new flavours of Chinese New Year puddings including pistachio pudding (HK$398), which blends the traditional texture of rice cake with the rich, nutty essence of pistachios, creating a festive experience. The red bean pudding with 30-year tangerine peel (HK$438) features the zest of aged mandarin peel that beautifully complements the sweetness of red beans. Signature favourites like turnip pudding, taro pudding and red date pudding are also available.

Additionally, Shang Palace offers meticulously crafted luxury poon choi takeaway (HK$4,888), inviting guests to indulge in a culinary journey this new year. Shang Palace Abalone Lo Hei Takeaway (HK$988) includes over 20 auspicious ingredients, including 12-headed abalone for wealth and sweet potato shreds for good fortune. As you enjoy this dish, lifting the ingredients higher symbolises a good omen for luck and success in the upcoming year!
