China has made important achievements to keep giant panda populations rising: UNDP official

Through dedicated initiatives, China's Sichuan Province has made important achievements that have seen giant panda populations on the rise, said Beate Trankmann, UNDP resident representative in China, in an online address at the Global Panda Partners 2024 conference in Chengdu.
