GAZA, June 28 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli army on Thursday ordered residents of neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City to evacuate immediately amid the incursion of its military forces into the areas.
Palestinian security sources told Xinhua that Israeli military vehicles entered the Shuja'iya neighborhood, located east of Gaza City, amidst heavy artillery and air strikes, prompting thousands of residents to flee the area.
