CAIRO, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- The Philae temple complex, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Aswan, is part of the Nubian Monuments from Abu Simbel to Philae, a UNESCO world heritage site.
The temple was saved from the rising waters of the Nile thanks to UNESCO's international campaign from 1960 to 1980.
