FENGJIE, April 11 (Xinhua) -- The Yangtze River runs from west to east in China, cutting through the Wushan Mountains at three places and forming the well-known Three Gorges: the Qutang, the Wuxia, and the Xiling gorges. The Qutang Gorge is about 8 kilometers long and famous for its magnificent and precipitous scene.
