U.S. halts one more high-speed rail project
Another U.S. high-speed rail project halted: the Washington-Baltimore magnetic levitation train was put to a stop for a cancellation of grants and environmental review, after it was announced last month that funding for California's High-Speed Rail project would be terminated.
Developer Northeast Maglev said this "further cements America's transportation infrastructure technological inferiority."
