SHENYANG, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Liu Jiadi's journey as a coffee roaster in Shenyang, capital city of northeast China's Liaoning Province, comes from his adaptation to the evolving coffee market. As the demand for specialty coffee grows, Liu has transformed his shop into a dual-purpose space, serving as a cafe and a roasting studio. His commitment to quality and customization has allowed him to cater to both individual customers and specialty coffee shops.
Ten years ago, Liu and his friend co-founded the coffee shop. Recognizing the increasing demand for high-quality coffee, Liu invested in his skills and equipment, learning online and seeking professional training in Beijing. This dedication to mastering roasting techniques has enabled him to offer tailored roasting plans that highlight the unique characteristics of different coffee beans.
The coffee sector is expanding, with more people entering the industry, contributing to its development. Liu observes this trend positively. "Coffee roasters can conduct large-scale roasting for some brands or, like me, run their own shops, offering customized, meticulously crafted products for clients," Liu said.
