HUOCHENG, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Vast fields of lavender in Huocheng County entered full bloom in June, transforming the landscape into a sea of purple. Featuring cultural performances, sports events and exhibitions showcasing local heritage, a lavender tourism festival kicked off to coincide with this natural spectacle, highlighting the region's thriving lavender industry while promoting local tourism and economic development.
