TAIAN, China, Oct. 1, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- This report is from the Shandong Office of Hong Kong Business Today. On October 1, the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, 13,000 tourists gathered at Mount Tai to celebrate the occasion by raising the national flag, viewing the sunrise, and singing patriotic songs.

At 5 a.m., Mount Taishan was already crowded with tourists, all holding small national flags and stickers, waiting quietly for the sunrise in the cool mountain breeze. At 6:05 a.m., the red sun rose, casting golden light over the mountains. The tourists waved their flags freely, with camera shutters and cheers blending together, capturing this touching moment.

"To specially bring my child here to experience the sense of ceremony and let him remember the beauty of our motherland's landscapes and the significance of holidays," said Sun Jing, a tourist from Tai'an, Shandong. The sight of her child holding a small flag and posing for photos under the flagpole was the most beautiful National Day scenery in her eyes.

At the same time, the flag-raising ceremony was held at Taiping Peak. As the national anthem "March of the Volunteers" played, the five-starred red flag slowly ascended. All present stood solemnly, saluting the flag with a gaze, and sang the national anthem together, their voices echoing through the mountains. "Watching the flag rise atop Mount Tai makes one truly understand the meaning of 'national peace and people's security,'" a staff member from the Tai'an Scenic Area, who had participated in the ceremony for many consecutive years, reflected.

"Ensuring the safety of tourists is our blessing to the motherland," said Zhang Kang, assistant station chief of the Mount Taishan Fire and Rescue Station. Zhang Kang has been stationed on the mountain peak for 11 consecutive National Day holidays, immediately beginning his holiday security duties after the flag-raising ceremony.

After the flag-raising ceremony, the melodies of "Sing to the Motherland," "My Motherland and I," and "Love China" filled the air. Tourists waved flags and sang together, their patriotic fervor transformed into driving motivation under the reflection of countless national flags, collectively praying for the country's peace and prosperity.
