The streets of New York are certainly not short of style, populated as it is with models and celebrities like Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Hailey Bieber and both Olsen twins. Standing out in the city, then, is real feat—and one that Tina Leung has achieved through her eclectic taste in fashion.

As she no doubt demonstrates in the new Netflix reality series, Bling Empire: New York, Leung has an eye for what’s cool and the ability to put a fresh twist on current fashion trends. Those qualities are the mark of an It-girl, a title that Leung rightfully deserves after having made a name for herself as a fashion stylist and blogger over the past decade.

While she frequently flits between other cities like Hong Kong, where she grew up, as well as Paris, Milan and London for Fashion Week, Leung’s colourful and daring street style fits right in with the energy of New York, the American fashion capital where she has studied, lived and worked for years. To make our case, we spotlight some of the Bling Empire star’s coolest outfits in the city below.

Ever the style chameleon, Leung pulls off bright colours just as well as she does her all-black ensembles.
