【天下制裁集會圖集】’1.19 Universal Siege on Communists Assembly’

今日（1月19日），民間集會團隊發起「天下制裁集會」。因遊行遭警方反對，只有集會獲發不反對通知書，所以團隊呼籲市民進行「流水式集會」。集會初期十分和平，但東區警民關係主任於大約下午四時半要求結束集會。及後有現場市民發現便衣警員，上前圍毆，其後防暴警員到場增援並發放多枚催淚彈。警方亦於今天拘捕多人。

1.19 Universal Siege on Communists Assembly

This afternoon, the Hong Kong Civil Assembly Team organised the ‘1.19 Universal Siege on Communists Assembly’ on Chater Road and at Chater Garden. The HKCA Team also applied a Letter of No Objection for the ‘1.19 Universal Siege on Communists March’, however, denied by the authority. Therefore, the organisers encouraged citizens to take part in the ‘Be water assembly’. It was peaceful at the beginning of the assembly, unfortunately, interrupted with the request to an end from the Police Community Relations Officer (Eastern District).

Afterwards, some police officers in Plain-clothes were revealed and attacked by the protesters. Soon, the riot police pushed and unleashed tear gas to dismiss the protesters at the scene. A number of protesters were arrested.
