SHANGHAI, April 14 (Xinhua) -- A Brazilian diplomat in Shanghai said that many Brazilian high-tech companies are expecting to deepen cooperation with their counterparts in China.
Jose Roberto de Andrade Filo, vice consul-general of Brazil in Shanghai, made the remarks before Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva kicked off his four-day state visit to China.
15 Brazilian startup companies have been registered in Yangpu District in Shanghai, hoping for promoting innovation through cooperation.
Yangpu is one of the demonstration bases listed by China's State Council to support entrepreneurship and innovation.
