BEIJING, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed mixed on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.02 percent to 3,350.78 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.2 percent higher at 10,794.55 points.
The combined turnover of the stock market was about 1.79 trillion yuan (250 billion U.S. dollars), up from 1.72 trillion yuan on the previous trading day.
Companies related to AI healthcare and robotics led the gains, while gaming, insurance and shipbuilding sectors suffered major losses.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, lost 0.06 percent to close at 2,225.58 points. ■
