AMMAN, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- The 2022 Jordan Camel Race Festival on Friday kicked off in the Wadi Rum desert of Jordan, with the participation of as many as 500 camels.
The camel race is a traditional sporting activity in Arab countries, which was, in ancient times, one of the most anticipated events in various festivities.
