NAGAON, India, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Blooming red silk cotton trees, scientifically known as Bombax ceiba, have brought the vitality of spring to Nagaon district of India's northeastern state of Assam.
The pink ovaries and light red petals of the clustered flamingo-colored flowers paint a stunning sea of red against the gloomy weather.
