Extending a welcome to the media leaders, Fu said that this year marks the 15th anniversary of the World Media Summit mechanism. The guest media leaders included Dmitrii Gornostaev, deputy editor-in-chief of Rossiya Segodnya Media Group, and Tamas Kovacs, CEO of Hungary's ATV Media Group.
