For the French label’s Cruise 2024 collection, she curated traditional techniques and collaborations with indigenous artisans to flesh out the Frida Kahlo-inspired set that also highlights Mexican culture. “This project results from [Maria Grazia Chiuri’s] profound admiration for our craftsmanship and her absolute love for Mexico—a collaboration done on mutual respect, open dialogues and trust,” she said on Instagram. “When she invited me to collaborate in this project, I said yes with my deepest admiration for her work and her commitment towards gender and diversity issues in fashion.”
