BOGOTA, June 27 (Xinhua) -- At least five people died and dozens more were injured on Sunday when part of the wooden stands collapsed during a bullfighting festival in El Espinal, Colombia.
Officials said a bull attacked several people after the stands collapsed, and a number of children were reported missing in the chaos.
The injured were transferred to nearby hospitals.
President-elect Gustavo Petro urged local officials to ban such events.
And current President Ivan Duque on Twitter announced an investigation into the disaster.
