聖誕將至，英國王室成員公布今年的賀卡的官方照。英王查理斯（King Charles III）選擇以今年加冕典禮時，身穿長袍、頭戴皇冠，與王后卡米拉的合照。而威廉王子卻低調地選擇一家人身穿便服的黑白照，形成強烈對比。

英國王室按慣例每年會發布獲選作聖誕卡的照片，查理斯選擇以5月時加冕典禮相輯中的其中一張相，作為今年聖誕卡的照片。
相片中，查理斯戴著皇冠，穿著束腰外衣和莊園長袍，身旁的卡米拉亦戴著后冠，穿著由皇家刺繡學院設計和手工刺繡的莊園長袍，及奧德菲爾德（Bruce Oldfield）設計的加冕禮服。這輯相是今年5月加冕典禮舉行後，在白金漢宮由攝影師 Hugo Burnand拍攝。

這是繼 2022 年 9 月 8 日伊莉莎白二世（Queen Elizabeth II）去世，查理斯成為國王後的第二張聖誕卡。他去年的聖誕卡照片，是女王去世前5日，二人在蘇格蘭舉行的布雷馬皇家高地聚會（Braemar Gathering）上拍的一張照片，當時他還是威爾親王。

與此同時，王儲威廉王子（Prince William）和王妃凱特（Catherine, Princess of Wales）亦發布他們的聖誕卡官方照。
威廉今年選擇了一張黑白照片，威廉一家在相中穿著白恤衫，凱特和8歲的小公主夏洛特（Princess Charlotte）穿著牛仔褲，而威廉和喬治王子（Prince George）則穿著黑色長褲，5歲的路易小王子（Prince Louis）穿著短褲。
他們一家站著，圍著坐在椅上的夏洛特公主，10歲的喬治王子已高及凱特的下巴，路易這次沒有鬼馬表情，而是帶著可愛的笑容。照片是由來自約克郡的攝影師辛納（Josh Shinner）在溫莎為他們拍攝。

凱特週五（12月8日）在西敏寺主持王室聖誕頌歌音樂會，喬治王子、夏洛特公主與路易小王子都跟隨父親威廉一同出席，儀式結束後，三人舉著蠟燭，小王子路易又突然俏皮地吹熄了夏洛特手中的蠟燭，再次成為公眾的焦點。
