NAGAON, India, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) -- People in India's northeastern Assam state participated in community fishing for Bhogali Bihu, a festival celebrated in January that marks the end of the winter harvesting season in Assam.
During the festival, people traditionally hold community fishing event using the Assamese fishing net Jakoi and organize community feasts afterwards.
