Construction of scenic coastal highway underway in S China's Hainan

DANZHOU, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- The Danzhou section of the scenic coastal highway in Hainan, south China, is under construction at present. The main line of the highway will be 988.2 km long.

The highway will stretch through 12 coastal cities and counties and the Yangpu Economic Development Zone, connecting bays, capes, tourist attractions and coastal resort areas throughout the island province.
