People living in the regions of the world's largest hydropower project of Three Gorges have shaken off poverty.
Covering about 10,000 square kilometers, the regions are in the upper reaches of China's longest river of Yangtze.
About 30 million people here have long been plagued by poverty.
Thanks to supportive policies and local government's efforts, including cultivating tourism and agriculture, all the 19 districts and counties here were lifted out of poverty in May.
