WUHU, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Located in Wuhu City, east China's Anhui Province, Chinese automaker Chery's smart factory boasts the mixed-line production of fuel, new-energy and hybrid vehicles. Inside the factory, robotic arms tirelessly assemble various vehicle models while logistics robots efficiently deliver components to their designated spots.
Over the past two decades, Chery has expanded its presence to over 80 countries and regions worldwide. In the first half of 2024 alone, Chery sold more than 1.1 million vehicles, achieving a remarkable 48.4 percent increase compared to the previous year.
