The tourbillon was a key highlight at Watches and Wonders 2024. In fact, Roger Dubuis’ entire collection was anchored on it, with the crowd favourite being the Excalibur Sunrise Double Tourbillon. Jaeger-LeCoultre presented the Duometre Heliotourbillon Perpetual, featuring a triple-axis tourbillon with a perpetual calendar.
Two tourbillon watches this year are record-breaking models. Hailed as the most complicated watch in the world, Vacheron Constantin’s Les Cabinotiers—The Berkley Grand Complication combines a tourbillon with multiple complications, including a perpetual calendar, a minute repeater, and a moonphase.

Over at Piaget, the gossamer-thin Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon is certifiably the thinnest of its kind ever made at only 2mm in thickness.

Hermès pairs a minute repeater with a tourbillon in the Arceau Duc Attelé, while A. Lange & Söhne’s Datograph Perpetual Tourbillon Honeygold “Lumen” boasts an unusual dial that enhances legibility and shows off the heartbeat simultaneously.

Outside the fair, independent watchmaker De Bethune’s DB Kind of Grande Complication showcases eight complications, tourbillon included, across two dials, each flaunting distinct design characteristics.
Jacob & Co reworked its Astronomia line, including the new Astronomia Regulateur featuring a triple-axis tourbillon and vertical differential, housed in a bold 50mm case.
There was also much fanfare surrounding Franck Muller’s Curvex CX Grand Central Tourbillon Skeleton featuring a central tourbillon within a skeletonised design. This unique configuration places the tourbillon at the heart of the watch, offering an unobstructed view of its intricate mechanism and highlighting Franck Muller’s avant-garde design philosophy.
