以巴衝突持續，雙方死亡人數已超過3000人。以軍在當地週六（10月14日）晚上表示，準備向位加沙北部發動海陸空大規模攻擊，並再次呼籲當地居民南撤，又指責哈馬斯試圖以平民作人盾。各國紛紛派飛機到當地撤僑，全球多地有示威聲援加沙的巴勒斯坦人，亦有激進人士發起襲擊，更有景點收到炸彈恐嚇。
法國日前有持刀襲擊案後，宣布將全國安全警戒級別提升到最高，但巴黎的羅浮宮博物館（Louvre Museum）和凡爾賽宮（Palace of Versailles）昨日（10月14日）均收到炸彈恐嚇字條，須疏散訪客及職員並關閉，警方徹底搜查後，並沒有任何發現。

歐洲多國包括西班牙、英國則有大型示威聲援加沙的巴勒斯坦人。英國倫敦和曼徹斯特週六有數千名巴勒斯坦支持者，帶同巴勒斯坦旗幟到街上示威，要求以色列停止對加沙地帶的軍事行動，
警方在倫敦部署過千名警察戒備，現場附近亦有右翼人士與遊行人士口角，雙方發生推撞。遊行起點附近的英國廣播公司總部，則被人潑灑紅色油漆，警方指，有7人被捕，其中一人涉嫌刑事毀壞，兩人因擾亂公共秩序罪被捕。

馬來西亞柔佛州新山一間大型商場週六下午亦接到炸彈威脅，新山谷中城廣場（Mid Valley Southkey）收到一名自稱外國籍男子來電，聲稱不滿馬來西亞支持巴勒斯坦，決定在商場某處放置炸彈。商場報警後疏散商場內顧客，警方派員在現場搜查。
