BEIJING, Oct. 18 (Xinhua) -- Located in Huairou Comprehensive National Science Center, the Synergetic Extreme Condition User Facility (SECUF) is a platform for experimental research, seamlessly integrating extreme conditions including ultra-high pressure, ultra-low temperature, high magnetic fields, and ultra-fast optical fields.

Its establishment advances the country's capacity for both fundamental and applied research in material science and related disciplines. It has started trial operation and 20 experimental stations are accessible to users.
