SHENYANG, April 29 (Xinhua) -- China's leading robot maker Siasun has unveiled two models of special robots -- the snake arm robot and the nuclear emergency robot.
According to Dinay Lin, the special robot BG marketing director of Siasun Robot & Automation Co., Ltd., the snake arm robot is highly flexible and can work in narrow spaces. The product can be applied in aircraft manufacturing and auto refueling, said Lin.
The nuclear emergency robot is developed with radiation-resistant abilities. It's designed to operate in areas with strong radiation which is inaccessible to people.
The robot can take pictures and record videos at the accident site. It's also equipped with a detector that can measure the radiation level in its surrounding areas.
