LANZHOU, May 25 (Xinhua) -- Aman Khan, a Pakistani postdoctoral fellow at Lanzhou University in China's Gansu, is conducting microbiology research in the hope of using his knowledge to help his countrymen.
The 35-year-old had the opportunity to study in China thanks to a cooperation project between a team led by his advisor Li Xiangkai and a research center in Pakistan.
He has been engaged in research related to the treatment of celiac diseases over the past years.
Khan was impressed by China's advancement in science and technology, saying what he learns here could improve his level of research.
