JERUSALEM, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Summer can be a good time for children to have fun and explore nature.
In Israel, children go to springs, swimming pools, and ice rinks to have fun and escape from the summer heat.
An ice-skating rink at the Pais Arena in Jerusalem is a nice place to go during summer. The ice structure is built of natural ice that was imported from Austria. Children use skating aids fashioned like pandas and seals, and visitors can rent skates.
The botanical garden in Jerusalem is also popular with the children, who can develop their understanding of plants and attend an open-door exhibition of model dinosaurs in the garden.
