ACEH BARAT, Indonesia, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- A four-day-old female baby Sumatran elephant was busy exploring the new world with her family at Conservation Rescue Unit Alue Kuyun in Aceh Barat district of Aceh Province, Indonesia.
Sumatran elephants, one of the three recognized subspecies of the Asian elephant, are listed as "critically endangered" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
