Asia Album: Harvest time for corns in Balkh, Afghanistan

BALKH, Afghanistan, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- Farmers in north Afghanistan's Balkh province are busy packing newly harvested corns.

They said this year's corn yield is better compared to that in the previous years. Corns have become a cash cow for local farmers.
