踏入2025年，陳葦璇(Kira)告別舊東家，轉以獨立歌手身份發展，並推出全新英文單曲《WAKE》，將歐美的舞台感帶給樂迷。
Kira指過往不同階段試過不同曲風，當今次決定以獨立身份發展，她想到自己很喜歡的《造星》決賽表演項目，這種舞台感極重的作品是她從未擁有過的，既然現在可以自己決定音樂路向，就先製作一首自己一直想做卻未有機會現行的唱跳作品。
這段時間Kira剛好遇到了澳洲藉的監製Westrin James，所以第一首歌就先以英文製作，而且在Kira幻想的歐美曲風下，實在很難以廣東話入詞，反而用英文更能表達當中的態度，亦能讓更多非華語系聽眾認識她及她的作品。
