SHENZHEN, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Ahighway stretching 32.2 kilometers from the Liantang Port to Jinqian'ao overpass is under construction. It will go through three districts including Luohu, Longgang and Pingshan in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province.
Vehicles shall enjoy free passage when the whole highway is put into use. Currently, a section of the highway has been completed and started to serve.
The project aims to facilitate the land transport between the Chinese mainland and south China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and promote the development of the Greater Bay Area.
