LANZHOU, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- Drones supported by the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) have been used regularly to inspect electricity supply lines in China's Gansu since August.
The inspection by drones reduces risks for workers, and makes the work safer, more efficient and more cost-effective.
