The wildly popular Netflix reality series Single’s Inferno may have recently come to an end but that doesn’t mean its loyal viewers have forgotten all about it. Fans of the highly raved Korean reality dating show are still having discussions all over social media—from the plot twists to anything about the cast members themselves. But if there’s one person who stole the show, it is none other than Song Ji-a. The pint-sized beauty and fashion YouTuber quickly gained popularity for her sassy one-liners, stylish head-to-toe designer outfits and, of course, her immaculate make-up looks.

For someone who was made to live on a hot, deserted island for a whole week, Song always looked flawless. Granted, she had her beauty tools with her—so we had to find out what her top tips and tricks are. Thankfully, the answers can be found within her YouTube vlogs. We’ve done the homework for you and compiled some of Song’s favourite beauty products below. So grab your beauty blenders and get ready to look snatched like her.

Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Eye Shadow Palette in Suspicion

If you’ve watched enough episodes of Single’s Inferno, you’ll realise that Song is hardly seen without brown eyeshadow. And it’s a simple trick of hers. Just use your finger and gently swipe a soft brown eyeshadow of your choice all over the lid and blend upwards. Then, using a brush, apply more eyeshadow in a darker brown shade on both the upper lid while lining the lower lid. Occasionally, Song also lines her lower lid with frosted eyeshadow for that aegyo-sal effect, a K-beauty trend that is supposed to help you achieve younger-looking eyes. Besides the Tom Ford Eye Color Quad Eye Shadow Palette, Song also enjoys the Chanel Les 4 Ombres 312 palette—which is composed of blue and grey eyeshadows, so it’s perfect for a sultry eye look. If you can't find the palette, the Chanel Les 4 Ombres 308 palette is a great alternative.

Chosungah Beauty C&T Blend Easy Firming 2

In one of her 'Get Ready With Me' videos, Song—who is also known to fans as Free Zia—highly recommends this liquid foundation by K-beauty brand Chosungah Beauty. She adds that the Chosungah Beauty C&T Blend Easy Firming 2 liquid foundation is great for those with dry skin, especially during the winter. However, it may be a little challenging to locate this product in Singapore. For a blendable liquid foundation, try the new Dior Forever, a high-coverage foundation that can withstand hot conditions (such as on our tropical island) of up to 33°C, as well as in humidity.

Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau De Parfum

This is apparently Song’s favourite perfume. The Yves Saint Laurent Libre Eau De Parfum is so closely linked to the YouTuber that people recognise it right away whenever she wears it, as she claims in a video where she lists her go-to perfumes. Some of her other favourite fragrances include Tom Ford Rose Prick, Miss Dior Eau De Parfum, Chanel No 5 Eau Premiere, Coco Mademoiselle and Byredo Mixed Emotions. Excellent choices, if we may add.

Chanel Le Blanc La Base

Song uses this luxurious face primer in a video where she demonstrates how to achieve her daily 'red make-up' style. The Chanel Le Blanc La Base contains illuminating properties to boost radiance and brighten the skin tone and can be applied using a wide brush. If you love that K-beauty glowing make-up look, this hydrating primer makes a great first step before foundation.

Chosungah Twenty Two Pen Liner Black

This liquid eyeliner makes an appearance in several of Song’s videos so her love for this product is clear. She uses the fine-tipped Chosungah Twenty Two Pen Liner in black (or brown) to achieve different styles, from a sharp winged look to even drawing on faux bottom lashes.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Soft Brown

Be like Free Zia and keep your brows on fleek with the iconic Brow Wiz by Anastasia Beverly Hills. The famed US beauty brand is well known for its wide range of brow products which cater to just about anyone. For soft brows like Song, use the Brow Wiz in a shade closest to your hair colour and fill in your brows with quick and gentle strokes for a natural look. Watch how she does it in the video above.

Mac Cosmetics Powder Kiss in Teddy 2.0

Real ones within the beauty community know why Mac Cosmetics’ iconic lipstick shade Velvet Teddy is a must-have in your beauty arsenal. Now this version, the Teddy 2.0, can be regarded as a reinvented version of the well-loved shade. It is such a versatile colour that can go with just about any make-up style, making it an easy colour to wear if you’re new to nude lips.

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Extrême in 116

Song says this is a great neutral lip colour to wear if you want to draw attention to the eyes instead. We all know how challenging it is to completely finish using just one lip bullet—well, Song is so fond of the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Extrême 116 that she intends to repurchase it once she uses it all up. And if there is any beauty product that is worth purchasing again, you know it is good.

Tom Ford Blush in Love Lust

When it comes to cheek blush, Song likes to keep it sweet and subtle with girly shades like coral and light pink. One of her favourites is the Tom Ford Cheek Color in Love Lust. It’s a gorgeous warm peach shade that will give you a healthy glow when you apply it lightly on the apples of your cheeks. While it is not available in Singapore, you can also go for the brand's Shade And Illuminate Blush in Sundrunk. It is an equally warm and medium coral blush that will accentuate the cheekbones perfectly.
