Earlier this year, Greyscale and SA Project worked together to bring Blue Bottle Coffee’s new flagship store to life. The trendy café chain’s latest branch found a home in Wan Chai’s Star Street Precinct. With 180 degree windows on every level, the three-storey coffee shop is prime location for meeting up and people watching. Coffee bars are located on multiple floors, providing a distinct experience on each floor.
Months later, Greyscale and SA Project joined forces once again on October 14 for a special charity event at the trendy coffee shop. Partnering with charity organisation ImpactHK, the two companies rallied together Hong Kong’s interior designers to fundraise for the charity’s mission of providing stable employment, housing allowance and job training to the homeless in our city.
The fundraising campaign was an overwhelming success. SA Project's managing director Maggie Cheung and Greyscale's founder and architect Serena Yeung happily welcomed all the guests who attended the event, while Jeff Rotmeyer, CEO of ImpackHK, gave a moving speech about the charity’s mission to get people off the streets of Hong Kong as videos of former homeless people whose lives have been changed by the help of ImpactHK played in the background.
Through this initiative with ImpactHK, Greyscale and SA Project aim to empower more HongKongers and help build a community without borders. Find out more about the two companies here:
