Following the success of its flagship store opening in Central, Swiss sportswear brand On has opened its second branch at Pacific Place. The new store continues bringing run culture to the city.

To mark the store opening, On and Tatler co-hosted an evening run from Pacific Place to the Observation Wheel in Central on November 22. The event brought together over 30 fitness enthusiasts andTatler community members, including Candice Chan, co-founder of health and wellness platform Zupe; Sarah Vee, founder of networking platform Women of Hong Kong; and Rania Hatoum of Rania Hatoum Bridal & Occasions.

Following the run, guests were led to The Upper House, where a panel discussion between Antonia Li, founder of digital agency Indicube, and Jonathan Crockett, the auction house Phillips’ chairman for Asia, took place; the two personalities, who are known for their fitness regiments, shared stories behind their journeys.

Running an auction house in Asia means working with teams across different timezones—in London and New York—as the work day goes on, the busiest it gets, says Crockett. This means his workouts—whether it’s a short run, boxing or tennis—“have to “get done first thing [in the day]—otherwise it doesn’t get done at all.”

Li agrees. “I like getting it [a workout] done in the morning. For me, a really structured fitness routine helps.” It also helps to have friends who share the same interests in your chosen workout, she adds.

The foundation of physical wellness is mental wellness, says Crockett. “First thing I do in the morning is meditate—that sets me up for the day.” Waking up and feeling fresh and energised is also key, so for him, rest is always a priority. Li, meanwhile, likes working towards a goal—such as races; positive affirmations, such as “better, strong, faster”, are also part of her routine.

The event also highlighted On’s latest offering: the Pace Collection. This much-anticipated line, designed for runners who value both performance and sustainability, features lightweight, breathable designs crafted with the brand’s innovative CleanCloud technology. This groundbreaking technique uses 20 per cent recycled polyester made from carbon emissions, transforming factory waste gases into durable, high-performance materials while reducing the carbon footprint of production.

The Pace Collection is a milestone for On; it is the brand’s first line made from recycled carbon emissions. The collection aligns perfectly with the values of urban runners who prioritise sustainability without compromising on performance.

Beyond product innovation, On’s approach emphasises community building. This ethos was palpable during the celebratory run, which underscored the brand’s commitment to fostering connections through fitness.

In a city that never stops moving, On’s new store is more than just retail—it’s an invitation to pause, explore and rediscover the joy of running outdoors. It embodies the brand’s mission: not just to provide high-quality running gear but also to create a community that celebrates the human spirit through the power of movement.
