A baby girl was born to a mother with COVID-19 on Sunday night at a designated hospital in Shanghai. Both mother and baby are in good condition.

The baby is the 100th born at the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center amid the latest COVID-19 resurgence.

There are now nearly 300 pregnant women in the hospital.
