The Breaking competition of the 19th Asian Games will be held from 6 to 7 October 2023 at Gongshu Canal Sports Park Gymnasium. There are two medal events: men's breaking and women's breaking. Athletes, known as B-boys and B-girls, compete in "battles."
On Friday, breaking will make its debut at Asiad. This inclusion precedes dance sport's inaugural appearance at the Olympics in Paris next summer.
