According to Milan-Cortina 2026, this marks the first time in the history of the Olympic and Paralympic Games that a "dynamic and generative motto" has been chosen - one that is not just a phrase but can be adapted to convey different stories and emotions.
It can be used to praise athletes' outstanding performances or to highlight the excitement of a competition, like "IT's Talent - IT's Your Vibe," "IT's Creativity - IT's Your Vibe," or "IT's Energy - IT's Your Vibe."
The word "Your" underscores the idea that everyone plays a vital role in the Games, while the first word "IT" symbolizes Italy, integrating the host nation into the slogan and reflecting the identity of Milan-Cortina 2026.
The Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games will take place from February 6 to 22, and the Paralympic Winter Games from March 6 to 15. ■
