Trump threatens to retake Panama Canal, whining about "unfair" fees

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump on Sunday threatened to retake the Panama Canal, accusing Panama of charging "unfair" fees on U.S. ships.

Panama's President Jose Raul Mulino responded that the canal will "continue to be in Panamanian hands" and "the sovereignty and independence" of Panama are not "negotiable."
