The Grand Palais has temporarily turned into a stunning backdrop for the Olympic Games, following an extensive restoration by Chatillon Architectes.
This Parisian gem, originally built for the 1900 Universal Exhibition, is celebrated for its magnificent nave and glass roof, constructed with over 6,000 tonnes of steel.
Throughout its history, the Grand Palais has hosted a diverse array of events, from the World Fencing Championships to global art exhibitions, drawing over two million visitors annually. Post-Paris 2024, it will fully reopen in spring 2025, continuing to serve as a cultural hub.
