DAMASCUS, Sept. 24 (Xinhua) -- Working to rebuild their houses in the war-ravaged Yarmouk Camp, south of Syrian capital Damascus, some Palestinian refugees finally have a real feeling of returning home.
The Palestinian refugees have been given the green light to return to fix their homes, as the Syrian government forces took the camp after battles with the rebels in 2018.
The Yarmouk Camp has symbolic importance for the Palestinian refugees in Syria, as they call it the capital of their diaspora. Most of the Palestinian refugees in Damascus lived in the Yarmouk Camp and went through a lot of pain when leaving it during the war.
