Fascinated by Asian cultures since childhood, Brazilian sinologist Giorgio Sinedino started learning Chinese 20 years ago and witnessed China's rapid growth firsthand.
"Brazilians' interest in China is diverse and multifaceted," he said, encouraging those who are interested in China to visit and understand the country.
Sinedino has been working hard on translating Chinese classics into Portuguese. In the future, he hopes to collaborate with others in translating and further researching Chinese philosophy and literature.
