KUWAIT CITY, July 3 (Xinhua) -- Dates, or "Tamr" in Arabic, are considered a kind of holy fruit and also a staple food in the Middle East.
As the region enters the hottest months of the year, the luscious dates are in prime season, when the fruit ripens to its fullness.
