YULI, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- August is the time when Arkin Reyim takes extra care of the cotton balls in his cotton farm of over 300 mu (20 hectares) in Bax Mali Village of Yuli County. After the spring seeding this year, a sudden drop of temperature in May almost destroyed his farm. Thanks to his experiences, Arkin Reyim seeded again in time and made up the lost.
Besides the cotton field, Arkin Reyim also plants corns, raises sheep and oxen. His plans for next year is simple, firstly, he'll have more poultry, could it be duck, goose or chicken, depending on which is easier to raise; also, he can provide farmstay service for tourists when his yard is renewed with some more fruit trees are planted. Speaking of his daughter who will go into middle school when the new semester starts, "I hope she will study hard and, with more knowledge, see a larger world in the future." said Arkin Reyim.
