BEIJING, May 18 (Xinhua) -- The International Museum Day falls on May 18 annually, with its theme this year being "Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing."

Among the museums all over the world, the Palace Museum in China and the Louvre Museum in France are located on the east and west sides of the Eurasian continent respectively. The two museums are far apart but similar, weathered but unfading. They have preserved and inherited the human civilization, and link the Eastern and Western cultures across time and space. Let's follow the reporters' lenses into the magnificent palaces to take a look at the precious cultural relics.
