PHNOM PENH, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia on Wednesday welcomed a ceasefire agreement announced by Israel and Lebanon, the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said in a statement.
"We hope that this agreement will lead to a permanent cessation of fighting across the Israeli-Lebanese border," the statement said.
On Tuesday, Israel and Lebanon reached a ceasefire agreement.■
